This is great. You can throw it all in your Slow Cooker right before bed. Wake up and the wonderful aroma hits you. When your ready it’s ready. Got to love that.
1 cup of Steel Cut Oats or Buckwheat Groats
3½ cup water
1 apple(any) chopped
½ cup raisins
2 Tbl. butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 Tbl. pure maple syrup
1 tsp. vanilla or 3 drops vanilla stevia
Put all in your slow cooker and stir. Then turn on low. That’s it, breakfast will be ready when you get up.
Cook 8 hours.
*Turn off as soon as you get up, it make start to over cook or stick to crock.
